Modular Solar Energy
From
Scientific American. Oerlikon's industrial technology (brand name: micromorph) allows the construction of modular solar panels (1.4sqm, 25Kg) that are more efficient (9% of energy is converted in electricity, up to 95Watt of power) and don't contain toxic or rare elements.
Quoting:
"We're taking … an Intel-inside type of approach," says Chris O'Brien, Oerlikon's marketing chief in North America. "We're able to sell customers a turnkey [assembly] line with guaranteed module performance and throughput at a fixed price."

It implies, rather, that the Creator founds these developments and supports them, underpins them and sustains them continuously. Thomas Aquinas taught that the notion of creation must transcend the horizontal origin of the unfolding of events, which is history, and consequently all our purely naturalistic ways of thinking and speaking about the evolution of the world. Thomas observed that creation is neither a movement nor a mutation. It is instead the foundational and continuing relationship that links the creature to the Creator, for he is the cause of every being and all becoming (cf. Summa Theologiae, I, q.45, a. 3).
So God is cause of the transformation of being from an intelligible form to a different intelligible form. Written down.

Sometimes I think we live in a society that has completely lost the idea of hybris.
I don't mean a guilt sense, I mean that sense of being relative to something transcendental that characterised the ancient Greek world.

For somebody technology is a means to immortality...
