Presentations

Let's get technical: I have seen a couple of computer presentations in this Country and many in mine.
I think they all have the same problem: data are not stratified in the proper manner.
Once you identify your audience and have clear the message that you want to transmit, you have to subdivide your information in levels.
Each level should uniquely depends on the previous ones and the conceptual links in each level should be clear enough in themselves.
Then you decide which one should go in a written form, which one should be in verbal form. Providing bibliographic references is a very welcome practice.
Time, the added degreee of freedom, should be used to highlight the cause-effect link and/or to define a proper pace for the flow of data.
It takes time, but it's another medium.
